Our Train the Trainer course is called Training Adults Effectively. This two day course is suitable for anyone involved in teaching adults. In this course, attendees will learn from a veteran instructor and will get the opportunity to both give and receive feedback on a brief training presentation that the student delivers the second afternoon. The course covers the latest breakthroughs in understanding how adults learn combined with proven principles of training adults using integrated media, designing training programs, and delivering presentations.

The cost is $1,000.00 per person with a corporate discount for 6 or more attendees (maximum of 10).

We are a RESNET-accredited Green Rater Training Provider and teach this two-day workshop that covers the fundamentals of green building. This course satisfies a pre-requisite for the US Green Building Council’s LEED for Homes Green Rater training, as well as other regional and local green building programs. Designed for Home Energy Raters (who will earn their certificate), it is available to other professionals as well.

This two day course costs $200.00 per person with a corporate discount for 10 or more attendees, up to a maximum of 30.

We are a RESNET-accredited Home Energy Rating System (HERS) Rater Training Provider with one of the highest student pass rates in the nation - 80% of our students pass the National exam on their way to becoming a Home Energy Rater. Our instructor has years of practical field experience as a builder, home energy rater, and rater trainer and brings that perspective to the classroom and field training. Brett has also served on the RESNET Advanced Rater Task Force, the Training and Education Committee, and the RESNET Board of Directors.

Our weatherization course is based upon the Energy Audit standard Brett wrote that was the first recognized by the RESNET Board of Directors. This course covers the basics of a three tiered energy audit approach and is designed to produce knowledgeable and capable energy auditors who understand theory and practice. It covers the entire audit process from interview to combustion safety testing, from visual inspections through software analysis for cost-effective recommendations.

This two day course costs $325.00 per person with a corporate discount for 15 or more people, up to a maximum of 25.

Using building science and field-proven practices, we teach the students how to recognize a high performance home that will dictate using best practices for HVAC design and installation.
